Hey there! I am Sebastian. Photographer and traveler.
I’ve been traveling the world since December 2023, but photography has been part of my life for over 15 years.
So, what do I shoot? A little bit of everything, I guess… but what truly captivates me is wandering through streets and markets, quietly observing everyday life.
I’m drawn to those fleeting, beautiful moments – often overlooked – that carry a quiet kind of magic.
“To me, photography is more than just taking a picture. It’s about creating an image that captures the spirit of a place, a situation, or a fleeting moment. I don’t always succeed – but I love the process and so I keep trying, again and again.”
My passion for photography began in 2010 during a three months trip to China – the same journey that sparked my love for traveling.
A year later, I bought my first “real” camera and started taking photography more seriously. Since then, it has become a constant part of my everyday life – whether I’m exploring faraway places or simply walking around my neighborhood.
Traveling has taught me just how fascinating and diverse the world is. Cultures, cities, people – each with their own rhythm and story.
Looking through the viewfinder, I’ve learned to see the world differently. And by pressing the shutter, I try to preserve a moment that might otherwise be lost.
What I aim for is a natural sense of structure and composition – to capture what’s already there, without staging it.
“If you walk through the world with your eyes and mind wide open, you’ll find something beautiful everywhere.”
Every photo I take is an attempt to freeze a moment in time – and to make it feel alive again for whoever looks at it.
That’s why my editing process focuses on enhancing what’s already in the frame, not altering it. I want to keep the image as true and authentic as the moment itself.

COLLABS
I document real people in real moments — quietly, respectfully, and without staging.
Whether it’s a florist opening her shop, a filmmaker walking the streets, or a running crew sharing coffee before a race — I capture the atmosphere, the in-between, the unposed.
You love what you do? I like to capture that passion and make it visible.
This is not about perfect pictures. It’s about honest moments.
If you have a story worth observing, I’m ready to follow. Let’s collaborate
Here’s a glimpse into past COLLABS – projects I worked on in close exchange with inspiring people and organizations:
Since 2010, I’ve been chasing stories through the lens, drawn especially to the vibrant cultures and contrasts of Southeast Asia. What began as a passion for travel has become a visual diary spanning all seven continents and over forty countries, with my most recent chapter being a 1.5-year journey around the world through 21 of them. These images are fragments of that adventure – moments of stillness, movement, and everything in between.
